GOD IS WAR and RED GLORY

“…war is the truest form of divination. It is the testing of one’s will and the will of another within that larger will which because it binds them is therefore forced to select. War is the ultimate game because war is at last a forcing of the unity of existence.” —Cormac McCarthy

“God Is War was first brought about by the medium of collage art which focused heavily on the colorful might and power that resides within all creatures of all sizes. Whether it is man and his rifle or a flower that preys on insects, there is violence, destruction, and even war on every level of existence. From the micro to the cosmos, we are all pitted against one another for survival. To reflect these images, God Is War sonically takes a much more industrial approach than my previous projects while adding more elements of violent psychedelia. Hard hits with swirling, dizzying drones; pulses and rhythms that slowly evolve and change with little to no warning. God Is War seeks to be nothing more than a pure monument to the ability to completely annihilate a life. Devoid of politics, devoid of pleasure.” - M. Chami, 2019

“Red Glory was born of frustration and the desire to create cold and simplistic death industrial that required little to no premeditated thought. Simultaneously, it is a dedication to the early (mostly) Italian industrial artists who so perfectly captured the aural essence of death. You’ll find no song titles, no structure, no edits, no overdubs. Red Glory is the last seconds of life before the light goes out. Red Glory is the frozen dirt of New England winters. Red Glory is nothing.” - Andrew Grant, 2019
